The Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 15 JATC announces multiple openings for Part-time Instructors for both
locations: Tampa and Sanford. We are seeking organized, self-motivated employees with high integrity. Working under the supervision of the Coordinator and Sheet Metal Workers Local 15 JATC Trustees.
The Part-time Instructors will perform a variety of general administrative and clerical services to assist in the development and implementation of the JATC Program. As Instructor you will be required to both take direction and work intuitively to support the fund’s goals and objectives in a professionally and culturally appropriate manner.
Instructors will be responsible for ensuring our curriculum delivery is effective, our apprentices have
the support they need to succeed, and our graduates are prepared to enter the field as diversified and skilled sheet metal workers. Instructors will have a commitment to teach based mentorship and dedicated to breaking down barriers that limit access to careers in our trade.
Education/Training: HS Diploma or GED
Experience: experience in the Sheet Metal Industry
Valid Driver’s License
